Justin Bieber is one of today’s most popular music stars. At the tender age of seventeen, he has already had a career that most people can only dream of. It is hard to believe that he got his start from You tube. In fact, many people have said that if it had not been for You Tube, Justin Bieber would have never gotten his big break.
Bieber was thirteen when he received his big break. Scooter Braun, who is the man who discovered Justin Bieber, said that he clicked on one of the singer’s videos by accident. Braun was so impressed that he contacted the then thirteen year-old Bieber and encouraged him to fly to Atlanta, which is where he was introduced to Usher. Bieber’s career catapulted by the end of 2009 and he has been a worldwide sensation ever since.
Justin Bieber released his hit single “Baby” at the beginning of 2010 and a couple of months later it became the most viewed video in history. He is one of the growing number of artists who have become successful due to You tube. Thirteen year-old Rebecca Black, who released her infamous “Friday” single earlier this year can also credit a large part of her success to You tube.
