The Influence of Justin Bieber’s Mentor Usher
It is no mystery that the upbringing of talented young musician, Justin Bieber, shaped him into who he is today. Justin Bieber was born on March 4th, 1994. He was raised by his single mother, Pattie, in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Justin attended several public schools in Canada before deciding to dropout and do homeschooling instead. In his childhood he was raised a devout Christian, and still continues to say that Jesus is the reason he is where he is today.
As a young boy Justin always had an interest in music and would play around with instruments. This was enough to make his mother buy him a drum set for his second birthday. It wasn’t until he was 12 years old though that Justin shared his talent with others. He had entered a hometown talent show and ended up winning second place. After that show he began posting videos on YouTube so his family and friends could watch him and his singing abilities. Much to his surprise, it wasn’t just his family and friends who were subscribing to his videos, but many other people as well. Word spread of this young talented singer, and within a few months he became an internet star. A little after that, his family received a call from an agent who was eager to fly Justin out to Atlanta. Always having his mother’s support, Justin and his family accepted that offer, and the rest is history.
Today, Justin Bieber has become a household name. There is not a person who does know about him or his story. His movie, “Never Say Never”, gave fans a look at his childhood and humble upbringing. It is true that Justin Bieber is a worldwide superstar now, but that does not mean that he has not forgotten his real home or his roots. In fact, he has been quoted as saying that Canada is the best country ever and he misses his hometown and friends.
